Have you ever gotten frustrated because you bought a beauty product that didn't deliver what it promised? It's a common problem in the cosmetic world, companies can hype their products a ltitle more than they really deserve. In order to combat this problem, I'm giving you an unbiased evaluation of the Tinted Moisturizer from Aveeno's Positively Radiant collection.

I'll start by examining some of the negative qualities of this product. First, let me state that this product is probably not right for you if you have greasy skin. That's because this moisturizer will just exacerbate your problem; it definitely runs on the greasy side.

Something else that might bother you is how Aveeno makes this product "Positively Radiant." Let me put it to you with a question: Have you always dreamed of being Tinker bell and having shiny skin? If so, you'll probably enjoy the glittery effect this tinted moisturizer gives your skin when you see it up close. If not, you might not like it.

And the final negative thing I want to warn you about is the slight smell. That's right, it has an odor that is similar to sunblock. People with noses as sensitive as basset hounds absolutely hate this smell. Consider yourself warned!

Does this mean that everything about this product is negative? Nope, not at all. One positive thing about the Tinted Moisturizer is that it does a solid job with what it was designed for-making your face look cleaner and revitalized, all while giving it some color. It comes in two different tones that you can match up to your own skin-Fair to Light (for pasties like me), and Medium (everyone else).

The other cool thing about this product is that it doubles as sun block during the summer months. It has SPF 30, so it will block most of the harmful UV rays. A lot of people love this feature, especially during the summer, because they only need to apply one product to their skin and they're good to go!

The bottle is the final nice thing about this product. I don't usually mention a product's packaging, but in this case it's a real bonus for this moisturizer. You won't waste an ounce of it because the spout dishes out the same amount each time you use it. And it's perfect for travel because you can turn the spout to lock it in place and keep it from spilling all over your clothes.

To sum it all up, it's a nice all-around Tinted Moisturizer. It has several negatives like the extra grease it puts on your skin, the light smell, and the glittery look. If those things don't bother you, though, you'll probably be pleased with your skin's smoothness, the extra sun block, and the handy-dandy bottle. It's not the cheapest of all the over-the-counter tinted moisturizers, but it's a good value buy.
